For 小籠包, Taipei wins hands focking DOWN
For 烤鴨, Beijing wins 
For 生煎包, I have yet to find out if Shanghai or Taipei is better. But that place in Shilin Night Market is stupid good. Already hard to beat. 
For pizza, NYC is better than Taipei 
For Italian food, Taipei is better than NYC or Philly (sorry, I never visited Italy for a proper comparison)
