There’s no difference really. But speaking from personal experience, steamed fish or Cantonese cuisine in general just hits different in Shunde. Think they pay extra attention to freshness of ingredients and cooking methods, cause it’s known that people from that area really care about food and what they eat (顺德人嘴很挑) 😂😂

What is the 区别 between 顺德 steamed fish and 广东 steamed fish?

It’s a dish from Shunde 顺德. There’s a saying that “no fish ever makes it out alive from Shunde”. They sure know how to prepare fish over there! My favourite is their steamed fish, never had a bad experience eating steamed fish in Shunde!
