This chart is flawed because there are cuisines that don't have the benefit of a "home vote" in this chart. Most of the cuisines listed have strong support from their own people which lifts up their average score, but the ones who weren't asked are mostly close to the bottom.

would have liked to see standard deviation for every column and every row. I think that factors in to measuring how likable a cuisine is. Also it would have been nice to see all of the nations of the cuisine types polled. That way there was a one-to-one relationship between cuisine and nationality. For example Saudi Arabians seem to really like Lebanese food. But it would have been nice to see if Lebanese people like Saudi Arabian food. That way we can determine that perhaps there's a similarity in those cuisines. While we're at it If we're going to sort All of the cuisines by average score, we should then put the countries in that same order so that on the diagonal We can see how each country views their own cuisine.

Interesting that in the USA, Chinese cuisine gets high marks while HK and Taiwanese gets low marks. It makes me think that it’s referring to American-Chinese food, which is basically Chinese-themed American food. Authentic Chinese food is not too different from other SE Asian cuisine.
I love authentic Chinese food, but most of my fellow Americans would not.
